2013-2018 Creation and funding of an International Associate Laboratory with the Mexican Public Health Institute on “Nutrition, Lifestyle factors and the risk of cardiometabolic diseases (Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardiovascular Diseases)”, in collaboration with Pr Martin Lajous, senior epidemiologist in Mexico

So far, I have obtained a total of 2.3M€ as a PI or co-PI for my own research projects and I manage a team of 5 people dedicated to diabetes research and the use of AI-based methods in diabetes epidemiology.

2015 Prize for Best Young Researcher on Diabetes, Embassy of Sweden in France
2012 & 2013 French-Australian Science Innovation Collaboration Grants. Two grants of 6500€ to fund two research stays as a visiting scientist in the unit “Diabetes and Population Health” at Baker IDI, Melbourne, Australia
