  • Since 2008 Active member and author for the EPIC network (European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition) and French correspondent for the European InterAct study (350,000 participants across 10 European countries to study the interaction between lifestyle and genetics on type 2 diabetes)

  • 2013-2018 Creation and funding of an International Associate Laboratory with the Mexican Public Health Institute on “Nutrition, Lifestyle factors and the risk of cardiometabolic diseases (Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardiovascular Diseases)”, in collaboration with Pr Martin Lajous, senior epidemiologist in Mexico

Grants

  • So far, I have obtained a total of 2.3M€ as a PI or co-PI for my own research projects and I manage a team of 5 people dedicated to diabetes research and the use of AI-based methods in diabetes epidemiology.

Awards and scientific prizes

  • 2015 Prize for Best Young Researcher on Diabetes, Embassy of Sweden in France

  • 2012 & 2013 French-Australian Science Innovation Collaboration Grants. Two grants of 6500€ to fund two research stays as a visiting scientist in the unit “Diabetes and Population Health” at Baker IDI, Melbourne, Australia
